Jacob Atwood is a cinematographer, photographer, drone pilot, and editor based in Los Angeles. He has shot projects featured in People magazine and The Wall Street Journal.

He is the co-founder of the wedding film company Poetica (www.poeticacinema.com).

 

Prior to starting Poetica, he worked as the lead editor for the Los Angeles based studio Heirlume Photography. He was also a lead shooter and editor for the wedding photo and video team Symboll and was the lead editor and DoP for the internationally distributed film series, "La Vague Verte."

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College where he studied English and won the McCarthy Award for the best collection of creative writing.
